Unrepresented Faculty:

Employees who have earned sick leave credits must use the credits for any period of absence that is due to a death in the immediate family of the employee or the employee's spouse (employee's parents, spouse, children, brother, sister, grandmother, grandfather, son-in-law, daughter-in-law or another member of the immediate household). As an alternative, the employee can request to be on sick leave without pay or use vacation accruals.
