Family Resources

Family Resources include on-campus and community information to help university employees identify child care, parenting resources, school information, summer camps, and elder care agencies to assist with our employee's ever-changing work and family responsibilities.

Caregiving

Knowing that those you care for are taken care of while you are at work can be a top stressor for employees. It is estimated that one in five employees are spending a significant amount of time each week providing care of some kind for a family member, friend, or relative. In a Harvard Business School report, more than 80% of employees with caregiving responsibilities admitted that caregiving affected their productivity, specifically their ability to perform their best at work.

At the University of Oregon, we acknowledge the impact that caregiving responsibilities have on our employees and seek to provide resources to assist with meeting their personal obligations.
