All Health Plans
- Travel Reimbursement: reimbursements for travel and lodging expenses have been added
- Over-the-counter (OTC) COVID-19 tests: no longer covered
Providence Health Plans
- Physical Therapy: prior authorization will be required for more than 12 physical therapy visits in a calendar year.
- Fertility drugs: covered with no annual maximum.
- Sexual Dysfunction: medications will be covered.
- Facial Electrolysis: expanding coverage to include treatment for hirsutism for female members who are diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Providence Choice
- Referrals for Specialists: no longer required on the Providence Choice plan.
Providence Statewide
- Massage Therapy: massage therapy benefits have been added to the Providence Statewide plan.
Moda Synergy
- New type 2 diabetes care program: program will be administered through Virta.
- Mental Health: new way to access mental health care through Spring Health.
- Fertility drugs: covered with no annual maximum.
- Sexual Dysfunction: medications will be covered.
- Facial Electrolysis: expanding coverage to include treatment for hirsutism for female members who are diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
