UOSW Bargaining: List of Proposals

The bargaining teams have entered mediation in their efforts to reach a tentative agreement on an initial collective bargaining agreement. Through mediation, the parties will explore ideas and present proposals, both binding and non-binding, in negotiations facilitated by a state-appointed mediator. To ensure accuracy at this stage of the process, copies of mediation proposals will not be published as terms can change quickly.

Impasse - Final Offers

On March 12, the union declared impasse, which is a normal next step in the bargaining process and will help the parties better understand each other's desired terms as we continue negotiating. Impasse required both parties to submit their final best offers by March 19. With the final offers exchanged, the parties have entered a 30-day cooling-off period, during which they will continue with mediation to negotiate the terms of an initial collective bargaining agreement.
