UA Bargaining: Salary (Article 26)

Tentative Agreement Reached

The following terms were tentatively agreed to on March 30, 2025. The UA bargaining team will take the new proposed agreement to their members for a vote with a recommendation to ratify.

 Annual Increases

(1) *If ratification takes place on or before the 15th of a month, the increase will be applied back to the 1st of the ratification month. If ratification takes place after the 15th of a month, the increase will be applied the 1st of the month following ratification.

(2) Career Instructional Faculty Equity Study Pool

  • Resources from this pool will be distributed based on the determinations from the study currently underway and increases will be effective September 1, 2025, for eligible career instructors.
  • Remaining funds from the study pool will be added to the Career classification merit pool increase effective September 1, 2026. 

(3) 2% across the board increase in exchange for ending new enrollments in the Tenure Reduction Program (TRP) on December 15, 2025; current enrollees (either in the pre-retirement period or the post-retirement period) will be unaffected.

(4) If ratified, non-represented faculty, excluding EC Cares, will also receive these annual increases.
