UO offers countless ways for employees to stay active, creative, and engaged, from discounted gym memberships and outdoor adventures to crafting and volunteering on campus. Immerse yourself in cultural and educational experiences with free museum visits, concerts, theater performances, and enriching programs for lifelong learning. And cheer on the Ducks with discounted season tickets!
Here are some of the fun and creative activities you can take part in as a UO employee:
- Exercising with a discounted membership to the Student Recreation Center.
- Going on adventures with the Outdoor Program, a nationally recognized program and birthplace of modern collegiate outdoor programs.
- Making things in the Craft Center or the Makerspace.
- Volunteering to beautify campus on University Day, to help first-year students move in with Unpack the Quack, or to help with graduation ceremonies.
- Shopping at the Duck Store.
- Having a bite to eat or buying crafts at the ASUO Street Faire.

- Check out books and other materials from UO Libraries.
- Visit the Museum of Natual and Cultural History and the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art for free.
- Buy tickets to local concerts and events at the UO Ticket Office.
- Learn and connect at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute-UO (for ages 50 and above).
- Get the scoop on local and campus news with the Oregon Daily Emerald, our student-run newspaper.
- Listen to our campus radio station, KWVA
- Take in a show, concert, or the internationally renowned Oregon Bach Festival through the School of Music and Dance.
- Watch a play with University Theatre.
- See the stars at Pine Mountain Observatory in central Oregon.
- Listen to one of the university's podcasts.

Go Ducks! Cheer on your teams with employee discounts on season tickets. Kids can join the Junior Duck Club to receive free admission to several sports, discounts on certain football games, and a birthday card from the Duck.
Our historic Hayward Field hosts NCAA, national, and international track and field events every year!
