Education is a key component of retirement planning. UO employees have access to a variety of education resources and workshops provided on the retirement plans' websites (links provided below). Educational opportunities include:
The UO Benefits office extends to you an invitation to receive one-to-one financial counseling from an investment adviser. This is an excellent opportunity to build a relationship with a Financial Planner as you save for retirement.
A limited number of counseling sessions are offered on campus, with new dates published about every three months. These sessions tend to book quickly. If you are unable to schedule a one-to-one meeting, contact the retirement plan administrator to discuss options.
Retirement plan administrators provide a wide variety of online retirement planning resources. Links to resources are provided below:
Plan administrators for ORP plans also provide educational materials and information on their websites.
