Core User Training

Target audience: Any staff member who has responsibility for recruitment within a unit/department. This includes Department Heads and Directors, staff with HR function and responsibility, and hiring managers.

Description: Training is delivered in three parts.

Part 1:

Creating Position Descriptions and Requisitions

Create a position description and launch the requisition to begin a search within the UO Talent Management System.

Managing a Search and Making a Hire

Applicant review, search committee distribution and review, candidate selection and dispositioning, processing an informal offer and onboarding.

Offers and Onboarding Refresher

An in-depth review on completing offer cards and the onboarding process.

Friday Labs

Attend a lab session to get hands-on, one-to-one assistance with a specific MyTrack issue or recruitment process need. 

This is an opportunity to receive help with any part of the MyTrack system from creating a Position Description to issuing an Offer.  A member of the Talent Acquisition Team can provide specific problem solving assistance, or general support as you use the system.  You are encouraged to bring their own laptops, but laptops can be provided if necessary.

Labs are conducted on Fridays.  Visit Making Tracks for a current list of dates and times.  Registration is required:
