The School of Music periodically hires instructors for temporary, part-time, and limited duration positions, as well as teachers for the Community Music Institute program. These appointments are normally for the duration of one year and are nonrenewable without a competitive search. Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis and will remain active for one year. Screening of applications will take place as positions become available and continue until positions are filled. Applicants must have a master's degree in music or evidence of significant professional experience. Demonstrated evidence of excellent and successful college level teaching experience appropriate to our needs is desirable.
