The Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures (EALL) at the University of Oregon invites applicants for a tenure-track, academic year position in Chinese Linguistics at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to begin September 16, 2010. In addition to research and undergraduate and graduate teaching responsibilities, the position will be responsible for the intellectual and academic direction of the Chinese language program, which includes the core instructional component of the Oregon Chinese Flagship Program at the University of Oregon, an innovative national model of advanced language learning.

Candidates must have a PhD. in Chinese linguistics or a related discipline. Preference will be given to those with a Ph.D. in hand, although ABDs will also be considered.
