The University of Oregon Chinese Flagship Program invites applicants for possible temporary/short-term instructional positions for the 2009-10 academic year. Positions may be one term (eleven weeks) or multiple terms (not to exceed one year) and are not ordinarily renewable without another competitive search. Priority will be given to current tenured or tenure track faculty with teaching and practical experience.
We invite applications from candidates who share our commitment to providing students with the academic, linguistic, and cultural tools they need to become global citizens. Applicants should review Flagship's course proposal process and Global Competency Curriculum framework. Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis, screened as positions become available, and open until positions are filled. Pool will remain active through the 2009-10 academic year.
