Regence BlueCross BlueShield Prescription Exception Process

If you are currently taking a non-formulary drug, there is an exception process that you can initate with Regence BlueCross BlueShield to request your prescription be covered at the preferred brand copayment level.

To initiate the exception process, call 1-800-643-5918. You will need to provide your Regence BlueCross BlueShield ID card, your doctor's name and fax number to the pharmacy customer service representative. The customer service rep will then complete the process directly with your doctor. The plan makes exception decisions within 24 to 48 hours.
